Why do most people not receive answers to their prayers? Do you know how to pray in a way that brings true results?
What I am about to say may not "please" the reader, but I will put it this way: Why do we pretend that the God of the Bible answers the prayers of people who pray to another god, who pray wrongly, that they usually disobey the true God and that they ask what God displeases? The answer is simple: We must not pretend! Make no mistake: you won't get real answers to your prayers if you don't pray to the true God in the right way. This may sound strange to many people who believe in traditional Christianity. The fact is that millions of people in our supposedly Christian Western world have no idea who the true God is or how they should address Him in prayer.
Many people mutter some words or repeat some "mantra" and end up "feeling better", and since many problems are solved in one way or another, there are those who think that their prayer has been answered when in reality it is not. In many other cases, we encounter people who practice what is known as the "sciences of the mind" or "the power of positive thinking," seeking to bring blessings into their lives.
That is not the kind of "answer" I am referring to in this brochure. Here I refer to a divine and direct intervention of the God of the Bible, Creator of the heavens and the Earth and active Ruler of the entire universe. How can you and yours receive this type of response to your prayers? There are many tips that could be offered, but what I want is to cite some "keys" that are essential to receive answers to our prayers. I am sure that by following these points honestly, to the letter and with all your heart, you will begin to see answers to your prayers. And they can be so real and so overwhelming that they will surprise everyone who has never seen such a power.
KEY 1: PRAY SINCERELY TO THE TRUE GOD
if you intend to get answers. He reveals himself to humanity in many ways: in creation, in the Bible, in his prediction of certain specific divine interventions in world affairs, and in his responses to those who seek and obey him.
The apostle Paul thus described the true God: “For although there are some who call themselves gods, be it in heaven, or on earth (as there are many gods and many lords), for us, however, there is only one God, the Father, from whom all things proceed, and we are for him; and a Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we through him ”(1 Corinthians 8: 5-6).
Our modern and ecumenical concept of religion may make us think that praying to “something” lazy over there in Heaven, or to an idol, or to Buddha, is the same as praying to the creator, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. But, it's not the same, not at all!
The true God was revealed by Jesus Christ (Matthew 11:27). To one of his disciples he said: “I have been with you for so long, and you have not known me…? He who has seen me has seen the Father; How, then, do you say: Show us the Father? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak to you, I do not speak on my own, but the Father who lives in me, he does the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me ”(John 14: 9-11).
In the Bible we read how for Jesus Christ, God was a divine Person and full of love, a "Father". And we are taught how the Father working through Jesus Christ healed the sick, comforted the downcast, and taught those whom He calls to keep the ten commandments as a way of life (Matthew 19:17). This should help us better understand the character of God and what he wants for us.
Christ also gave us an example of how to pray to the Father: “These things Jesus spoke, and raising his eyes to heaven, he said: Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son, that your Son may also glorify you ”(John 17: 1). Again, when he outlined a prayer for his disciples to teach them the proper way to pray, he said thus: "You therefore pray thus: Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so also on earth. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. And do not tempt us, but deliver us from evil; for yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for all ages. Amen ”(Matthew 6: 9-13).
Jesus revealed that the God to whom we must pray is a Father. What else does it reveal about Him? Who is "in heaven". That you have a kingdom or government that is going to be established on Earth. That He, being our Father, is the one who can give us our daily bread
